Brad Pitt was a Breitling brand ambassador from 2018 onward and is a serious private collector, preferring restrained, dressed-down references over flashy luxury sport pieces.
His on-screen watch choices are driven less by product placement than by character work: in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood his Cliff Booth wore a vintage US-issue Hamilton; in F1 (2025) his character drives an IWC Pilot. The pieces he wears off-screen are quieter still: vintage Speedmasters, mid-tier IWC and Breitling, occasionally a Patek dress watch.

The Breitling era
Pitt's Breitling ambassadorship sits in a small group (alongside Daniel Wu and Charlize Theron) that broadly succeeded in repositioning the brand from 'mass-market chronograph' to 'serious enthusiast brand' through the late 2010s and early 2020s.
Off-screen taste
Friends in the watch trade have characterised Pitt's personal collecting as 'restrained' rather than 'aspirational': vintage Speedmasters, modest IWC Pilots, the occasional Patek dress watch in yellow gold. He has not been photographed in steel sport-watch chase pieces (Daytona, Nautilus, Royal Oak) and reportedly is not interested in them.
