GRØNE is a standalone brand, not a sub-line of Grönefeld. Same brothers, same Oldenzaal workshop, a much lower price point. The two brands share people and a building, not a badge.

Bart and Tim Grönefeld are third-generation Dutch watchmakers. Their family workshop in Oldenzaal (eastern Netherlands) has been theirs since 2008, when they founded the Grönefeld atelier that has since won two GPHG prizes (1941 Remontoire, Men's Watch 2016; 1941 Grönograaf, Chronograph 2022). Prices in the Grönefeld collection start around €55,000 and climb well past €250,000.

In August 2026 the brothers launched GRØNE as a separate independent brand. Not a "Grönefeld entry-level", not a sub-line: a different watch brand with its own name, its own identity, its own catalogue. Same brothers, same building, different rules. The pitch: bring the finishing culture of the Grönefeld atelier to a price bracket the €55,000-plus 1941 collection cannot reach.

The debut GRØNE model is the Horologium. 39mm stainless steel, 10mm thick, downward-curving lugs, sapphire crystal front and back, manual-wind La Joux-Perret movement decorated with Côtes de Genève, polished anglage, and heat-blued screws. Two dial variants of 188 pieces each, "Something Classic" (salmon sunburst, flame-blued hands) and "Something Quirky" (Dutch orange and baby blue accents, engraved caseback). €2,390 ex VAT.
