Introducing – The New Gerald Charles Maestro 9.0 Roman Tourbillon with a Hand-Hammered Gold Dial

Gérald Charles Genta, one of our time’s most respected and well-known watch designers, sold his eponymous brand Gerald Genta to Bulgari in 2000. However, instead of resting on his laurels and enjoying a stress-free retirement, he created a new brand, naming it – again – after himself; Gerald Charles. In 2003, Genta sold the company […]

This time, the inspiration of Armand “Mondo” Deplantis and the Swedish national colors […] Visit Omega Introduces The Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Inspired By Armand “Mondo” Duplantis to read the full article.

Introducing: The New 38mm Oris Divers Sixty-Five Calibre 400 With A Green Dial (Live Pictures)

In February of 2022, Oris and Chronos, WatchTime’s sister publication, released a limited-edition watch together. The 38mm stainless steel Divers Sixty-Five Calibre 400 had a blue vignette dial. It was the first time the Divers Sixty-Five became available with the new movement in a 38mm case. But as there were only 200 made, it was […] Visit Introducing: The New 38mm Oris Divers Sixty-Five Calibre 400 With A Green Dial (Live Pictures) to read the full article.

Introducing: The IFL Watches G-Shock CasiOak Orca Limited Edition

It’s been a while since I’ve been up close and personal with IFL’s customized takes on the evergreen G-Shock, and this time, it’s personal. Christopher Ward Mixes Blue and Bronze in their Latest C60 Pro 300

Christopher Ward is introducing a new variant in their popular Trident Bronze collection - this time with a deep blue ombré dial. The C60 Pro 300 Bronze Blue Ombré builds on the long evolution of the Trident collection, and serves as an excellent reminder both of Christopher Ward’s mastery over bronze, and comes just in time for the height of summer.  The new C60 Pro 300 Bronze Blue Ombré reinvents last year’s C60 Pro 300 Bronze, replacing that model’s brown ombré dial and bezel with a mesmerizing deep blue, while otherwise retaining all the signature details that have helped set Christopher Ward apart from the pack. We’ve been talking a lot about what makes for a good summer watch recently, and there is no denying that this latest release from Christopher Ward throws a mighty wrench in that conversation, offering a tempting and handsome new entry into this year’s summer watch race. Christopher Ward has long been known for their dive watches, and - over the years - bronze has increasingly become a core material for the British brand. The C60 Pro 300 combines the two in a 42mm light-catcher case, here produced in CuSn6 bronze, a super-strong, copper-heavy bronze alloy that is well known for its deep color and ability to take a patina. If you love a deep patina with plenty of greens and an intense color, CuSn6 is the way to go. Bronze has long been a core material over at Christopher Ward, and this watch is an excellent reminder as to why. The Blue Ombr...

Reissue Overload - Why Do Watch Brands Keep Looking To The Past For Good Design?

Watchmaking is a field steeped in tradition. Big brands pride themselves on boasting centuries of heritage. At the same time, the mechanical watch is, largely, declared technically obsolete in 2024. So it seems only natural that watch brands look to the past for design inspiration. Almost every major brand now has one or several reissue […] Visit Reissue Overload - Why Do Watch Brands Keep Looking To The Past For Good Design? to read the full article.

Get Personal and Purposeful with the Father’s Day Gift Guide from Citizen

With Father’s Day right around the corner, it’s a good time to reflect about what it is we love about our dads, grandpas, and chosen family. They show up for us at our low points and help celebrate our highs. With the seasons heating up (at least on this half of the hemisphere), Father’s Day can be a great time to get outside with the dads in your life and show them you appreciate what you have built together. In honor of dads, Citizen and Worn & Wound put together a Father’s Day themed gift guide, featuring purposeful and powerful gifts to celebrate your relationships and the endless possibilities you can achieve because of them. For a Dad that’s not like all the other dads, give him a watch that stands out in a crowd. The newest addition to the stylish “Tsuyosa” automatics collection, the “Tsuyosa” Small Second brings an impressive amount of sophistication in a sleek 40mm footprint. With a silver-tone stainless steel case and quickly-interchangeable bracelet, the watch can dress up and down for any occasion. The recessed 4 o’clock crown position keeps additional focus on the robust dial which includes a textured pattern, a contrasting 6 o’clock seconds counter, and additional silver-tone details to keep the watch seamlessly attractive. With an in-house Citizen Caliber 8322 movement capable of a 60-hour power reserve, the “Tsuyosa” is available in Gray, Green, or Blue starting at $550. Going Hands-On With The Nordic Marine Instruments Søværn Sports Watch

Another day, another watch launch. With the sheer number of microbrands out there, there’s a new launch nearly every day. Indeed, it can be hard to keep up with everything. Not everyone has time for microbands, and I get that. Still, I got into this hobby via this affordable segment, and I still love seeing […] Visit Going Hands-On With The Nordic Marine Instruments Søværn Sports Watch to read the full article.

Introducing the A1, the Debut Watch from Anoma

This is a really good time to be interested in avant-garde watches. It seems like every week there are new watches coming to market and being announced that are well outside the confines of the “vintage inspired black dialed diver” that only a few years ago seemed to have been everywhere. Just yesterday we told you about an exciting new release from Holthinrichs, for instance. Before that, the debut watch from Toledano & Chan sold out in just minutes. As I write this I’m simultaneously finalizing my hands-on review of the Amida Digitrend, a throwback and a truly unusual design. And I happen to be wearing my trusty Arcanaut Arc II. If you have adventurous taste, you’re spoiled for choice at the moment with affordable options in all kinds of odd case shapes and dial executions that will surely be nothing like anything else at the local watch meetup. Today, a new watch from a new brand can be added to the conversation: the Anoma A1.  Anoma is a new brand founded by Matteo Violet Vianello, a longtime watch collector and one of the first employees at A Collected Man, where he sourced rare watches for clients and worked closely with some of the most prestigious independent brands. If you know A Collected Man, you know how expertly curated every sales listing and piece of editorial content is, and the A1 has the look and feel of a watch created by someone who has seen a lot of watches. Every tiny detail has been carefully considered, and the result is a genuinely unique ...
